• In Real Time.

This is not sped up; this is just me drawing in real time. I used to do this at galleries and cafes; drawing upside down was fun for everyone and was an easy way to get folks to stop and enjoy the unfolding work. I loved the conversations that came from that, there is nothing more special than drawing and expressing creative ideas with good folks. Everything is mostly online now, and we are missing out on so much of each other and what it is to be human.

I know folks like FB, so I have created a Facebook page to connect with other fellows and enjoy what everyone is producing. Use the link and follow and I will absolutely follow back! Thank you.

  • And now we see the eve has come

the sun it dips unseen to some.

Morning chill it sets the day

    summer things they drift away.

But love of spring will come to rise

and colors with it to please the eyes.

Let sleep the night with sounds of ease

a starry song that drifts through trees.

Cradling souls in dreams so sweet

to wake among the summer’s heat.

    –

    That all may gleam fulfillment.

  • There was a grave at the well

and each step was a foot within

even after all the signs and warnings

they steeped themselves into the pit

all the squirming and splashing about

as they sang and danced away

    picking sides from random choices

    useful idiots 101.

    –

    But the heat built up

    and no one knew it

till it was foaming down the sides

    now the dancing has ceased

    and their features puffed up

face down in the lying grave.

  • The Creator.

    Ever flowering scent of life

    always reaching for the sun

where the sky and stars are waiting

and the moon is ever waning

    here the glory lays within

the depths of the sowing Earth.

    –

    Though some may never bloom

    they share their vibrant colors

    clinging to the varied grounds

where life forms take their shape

to see all that rests within

    the hands of loving grace.

  • Discernment 101.

    Corrosion grows as well

    unlike fruits from good soil

    it molds from many angles

    different shades of elements

that eat and corrupt its way

    bending and twisting your sway

    truth becoming their decay

can you see through the rot of their way?

    –

    Was quite simple to understand

    but the more they convoluted

the more your will did bend

and the more you bend the less you see

then truth becomes, ‘what will be’

you are reset and no longer free

once a rock was the key

    Now it’s the digital decree.

    –

    What am I?

  • Dark things uncover that which we prefer to bury, but at what depths shall we consider enough? We have shovels piled high in the closet and skeleton’s waving bye-bye, but they never really leave you know, and drown you in whispering sighs.

By the time you think you recover, they have groan in mass and are calling. Never cease to be alone after that from which you have stolen. They creep up through your skin, and flutter about in your stomach, slithering up to the heart where they eat till their bellies are swollen.

Cry! You cry out, but the flesh is a salty dish, you hover over your grave and pick at the coffin in vain. When can you be free from the mortals you have stolen, from the lives that are splitting your brain..?

Never; laughs your consciousness as it places the knife in your hand. “Now out you go into darkness and prey,” are the simple words it relays. And every step and trudge you take over and over it plays. Till shadows are dancing in lights ray, taking you farther and farther away.

  • You think you have the story

but the tail comes to an end

    it spins in biting circles

    blurring the space it rends.

    –

Then just as you have the line

    it falters into many

    drawing images from the last

and you thought you had the skinny.

    –

    But lo and behold

the horror has grown into bloom

    now all your pretty sayings

    are written to your doom.
